This sermon is based on the texts found in: 1 Samuel 15:34—16:13 & Mark 4:26–34
It is a reflection on the parable of the Kingdom of God being compared to a seed scattered and then when left alone within God's creation, it grows and grows... Why does it grow, what does it require for good growth... are we the same? This Sunday in Brooksdale, we alsoa celebrated the membership of Erin through confirmation and Bill Rothernel through transfer of membership. Many thanks for Bill's reflection shared with us regarding why he has chosen to join our congregation... his words were pure blessing to our Brooksdale ears! Text: 2 Corinthians 4: 13 — 5:1 ; Mark 3: 20 – 35, by Rev. Doug Peck.
Rev. Doug explores the topic what is the worst that's going on out there? What's unforgivable? And how does Christ ask us to respond? |
