![]() Today is the 35th year anniversary since Terry Fox began his Marathon of Hope. He was great at running but perhaps he was even better at getting us to feel like we could belong to his mission. A similarly great athlete is Paralympian Darda Sales. World class swimmer and wheelchair basketball player, she's great at it all but, what makes her great is something else. These two people are extraordinary people but normal you and me could also possess what makes them great. God however, has the ability to change hearts. Jesus shows us this miracle in a rather funny and unsuspecting way in today sermon which is a reflection on the story of the Syrophoenician Woman. |
