 In this week's scripture (Jeremiah 23: 1-6) a post-exilic people of God are hearing from God that new shepherds will rise up to call out the remnant of God's people. How does the translate in our small rural churches of today? What are the new shepherds among us being risen up to offer new gifts to take our church into the future and send out Christ's message of unity in today's world? Travis is just one of them, and he's got some great gifts and he's... well... he's AWESOME!

In today's sermon based on the scripture from Isaiah 65: 17-25, we're told of the Utopia we are promised to the people of Israel that will bring both wolf and lamb together at the same feeding ground. Do you have an experience where someone very different from you became a blessed friend? What makes such situations work so well?
