Last Sunday we had four baptism... it was a special Sunday for sure! Baptism is the beginning of the Christian journey. It is a time when we decide to follow the message of Jesus instead of the other messages we receive in our world that are all too often self serving and/or destructive. This sermon explores this topic after examine the story of the Pilot talking with Jesus before sentencing him to death. Though Jesus is near his own death, he takes this opportunity to convince one more person that there is a path that is a better way. (John 18:33-37)

![]() While on summer vacation in Sicily, Dan and Barb Irvine stumbled upon a War Memorial that lays to rest 490 fallen Canadian soldiers, in Agira, Italy. Beside many gravesides are stories about lives and backgrounds given insights into how much was giving. Today's gospel lesson was about the Widow who game 2 small coins to the treasury.
