In our joint Good Friday service at St. Andrew's United Church in Brooksdale our service focused on the scripture reading that foretell of Christ's passion narrative in the book of Isaiah as well as in the Psalms. Following that the gospel of John was read telling of the accounts of Jesus' betrayal and arrest, Peter's denial, Pilate's final handing over to crucifixion and Jesus' death on the cross and burial. Hear the entire accounts as well as a sermon called, "Get Thirsty". These were Christ's dying words on the cross but perhaps also a call for us all to thirst for, (as the Samaritan woman by the well did), the Living Water's of God, during greatest tragedies. Very Special thanks to our readers, John Hiuser, Sue Butt and Erin Shrigley, Sydney Turvey, and Ruth and Don Murray.
