Do you sometimes think people think faith makes your life easier to the point of no suffering? The re-living we're offered by Jesus isn't easy for us and as Jesus shows Lazarus, it's not easy for him to give. In order for Jesus to offer new life, he must first go to the depths of our sadness with us, and he asks his disciples to do the same. (John 11:1-45)
