In this sermon that reflects on Jame 5: 7-10, I find a lot of inspirations from an article written my Fr. James Martin. (http://www.americamagazine.org/issue/have-faith-joy) In it he asserts that Christian joy is not without sadness and suffering. He then defines Christian joy is being permanently connected to God in relationship. This week also saw the memorial service for Nelson Mandela and all his Joyous triumphs were celebrated. A perfect example of Joy after being 'patient in suffering', while strengthening the heart!

I appreciated the sermon this morning. Using personal experiences and current events can often reinforce and bring light to our paths.
