
![]() Patience is a major theme in the sermon for the second Sunday of Lent. It seems like Jesus requires patience upon hearing that Herod is mad at him for helping people in the big city of Jerusalem. Sometimes we just don't think we can scrape enough patience to deal with the smallest of things... in those times, how can we be patient, where does it come from? Based on the Lectionary readings from Genesis 15:1–12, 17–18 - God seals the covenant with Abram and Sarai. & Luke 13:31–35 - Jesus cries over Jerusalem as a hen over her chicks.
