When Mary Magdalene first notices Jesus' disappearance, it causes her to panic and run for help. With nothing left to go on, she finds herself emotionally collapsing. Our Moderator of the United Church, the Rt. Rev. Jordan Cantwell also says, that many people think Easter is all happy and hallelujah's and yet, likely most people aren't feeling that way. So many people are in a state constant running, just trying to stay a float, and yet likely not far from crashing. When Mary lets herself crash... could it be the beginning of her rising?... and ours?
